Monbazillac
Fairly comparable to Sauternes (noble rot also plays an important role here) but less popular or expensive, Monbazillac AOC in southwest France produces a sweet white wine with a golden colour, normally creamy in character with soft notes of honey.

The sweet Monbazillac wines strongly resemble Sauternes. The barrels from Bergerac in southwest France impress with their fruity sweet, full aroma with subtle notes of Muscat.
