Brandy
Spanish brandy is a traditional wine-based spirit produced by distilling wine and subsequently ageing the resulting distillate in wooden casks.
Brandy de Jerez, originating from the Jerez de la Frontera region in Andalusia, is particularly renowned for its rich, smooth and complex character.
Brandy de Jerez is traditionally aged in American oak casks that have previously contained sherry, often using the Solera and Criaderas system.
Through this distinctive ageing process, the brandy develops characteristic aromas of dried fruit, raisins, caramel, vanilla, toasted nuts and warm spices.
