Mizunara Japanese oak
Japanese Mizunara oak is the most exclusive oak species for making barrels. The reason is that the noble hardwood is more difficult to process than other oak and availability cannot always be guaranteed. Its excellent aroma is particularly popular with whisky distilleries.
