Freshly emptied Pedro Ximénez sherry casks ideal for maturing beer, whisky, gin and all other distillates. Pedro Ximénez is a sweet, full-bodied sherry with aromas of sultanas and figs. The speciality here is the French oak barrels. This significantly changes the flavour profile, which is not as concentrated as when American oak is used.

  • Taste

    The bouquet is uiternate sweet reminiscent of dried southern fruits such as sultanas, figs and dates. Accompanied by aromas of honey, grape syrup, jam and candied fruit. at the same time, it is also reminiscent of freshly ground coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa and liquorice.
